Dream Drummers

 

Child's Garden There are fairies in my garden       Down behind the yarrow rows. And they frolic in the corner,       Off where no one ever goes. Sometimes I tiptoe slowly in,       And sit so very still, That they come and dance quite near me.       And I hold my breath until - I have to laugh and clap my hands       To see them spin in glee. Dream Drummers We are the Dream Drummers     Daring to hope, to imagine A life beyond the confines     Of our daily world. We are the Tellers of Tales     That fire the mind and heart To believe in new possibilities,      To hope for far more Than we now see and know. We are the Makers of Myth     Stories of the Old Ones           Old Ways Heroic deeds done     Mythic journeys made Evil monsters vanquished     Rewards and gifts received. We are the Weavers of Oneness     Uniting intellect and intuition Knowledge and wisdom     mundane and magical Reaching to "other-real" realms. © 1990 Silverwind
