We have not included any specific spells here. Why not? Because spellwork is best when it comes from the person doing it. Following a recipe spell (and you can find these in every book and all over the net) just aren't going to be effective/affective unless you have the proper visualization and intent behind it.
Doing manipulative magick is a witchy no-no. This includes hate spells, love spells, attack spells, etc. Love spells, you say? Well, if you are doing a spell aimed at specific person, then you are doing manipulative magick. Do you really want someone because you put a spell on them? Where's your witchy pride? Remember, what you put out comes back to you threefold. Do you really want to be in love with someone three times more than they are in love with you? "But" - you may be exclaiming - "you have Love spells listed above! Aren't you being hypocritical?"
Not really. Because if you want to do a spell asking the universe/God/Goddess to bring you the perfect mate WITHOUT visualizing a specific person, and then ask the universe/God/Goddess to only do it so that it is good for ALL involved, you aren't manipulating anyone. It takes a bit of extra work - but nobody said that it was easy.
Binding spells are in that nebulous grey area. If someone is hurting you, than there are things that you can do to protect yourself. You could bind the person, but it doesn't always last, and you end up putting more and more energy into that person. (And is that what you really want to do - spend more time and energy on someone who is being terrible to you?) Now, not wanting to be yelled at (or sneered at) for being white-light-foo-foo- answer this question - if you really believe in the law of threefold return, why would you think that all of a sudden it doesn't operate in these situations? Wouldn't a binding on someone else then bind you three times as much? If you are doing protective magick or healing magick on yourself - then you don't have to worry about rebound. Try to follow this rule:
This will undoubtedly tick some people off who think that magick is all about screwing over that person you hate. Sure, you can do it. But just because you can doesn't make it right. And just so you have been warned, it will come right back and #$&@! you up. Really. So we wouldn't advise it, tempting as it may be.
